One of a group of six 'Hut Circles' shown on 19th century map.

Hut circle. One of a group of nine hut circles, south of the track of an old railway.
(24/8/1950) Hut F (SX5778 7305). Double walled type diameter 6.5 metres, wall width 1.5 metres, height 0.5 metres, composed of mainly turf covered stones although several are still erect. A number of stones have been thrown into the centre. Condition fair, entrance on south-eastern side.

Hut circle terraced into hillslope. Simple plan and double orthostat walling. Internal diameter 6.3 metres, wall 1.6 metres wide, 0.7 metres high. A 0.7 metre wide trench lying north-south within the hut suggests robbing or partial early excavation.

One of twelve hut circles lie in an exposed position just below the Princetown Railway track. Partially explored by the Dartmoor Exploration Committee they had previously been much pulled about by stone cutters.
