Name:Hut in settlement 700 metres south of Leeden Tor, Walkhampton

Summary

One of five huts built into the northern wall of the enclosure, this hut is the most westerly of the group. Internal diameter measures 6.3 metres. Single orthostatic wall 1.8 metres wide, 0.8 metres high. Divided into two by internal bank 1.4 metres wide, 0.3 metres high, which may be either a partition or excavation baulk.

One of a group of 13 hut circles and enclosure, south of Leeden Tor.
Visited 24/8/1950 (SX5617 7103) Hut K. Diameter 7.5 metres, wall width 1.1 metres, height 0.5 metres. Subdivided into two compartments by an interior wall, which bisects the feature. Much overgrown, entrance to south; condition good to north but much despoiled to south.
