Summary

Large hut with later shelter outside circular enclosure south of Leeden Tor. Internal diameter measures 9.0 metres. Coursed wall 1.7 metres wide, 1.0 metres high. Contains two structures which may represent internal partitions or later additions. One lies against the south wall and is oval, 1.8 metres by 1.0 metre internally, with 0.9 metres wide, 0.3 metres high rubble wall. Probably a post-medieval shelter. The other lies in the northern part of the hut and includes a 1.4 metre wide, 0.3 metre high rubble wall enclosing an area 5.0 metres by 2.0 metres. Probably a partition.

One of a group of 13 hut circles and an enclosure, south of Leeden Tor.
Visited 24/8/1950 (SX 5625 7110) Hut A. Diameter 9.5 metres, wall width 2.0 metres, height 0.75 metres. Composed of very large granite stones, two of which clearly mark the entrance at the south. The interior is a collection of many large boulders of granite, which appear to have tumbled from the wall. The floor of this circle is very uneven. Condition very good.
