Site visited on 7th May 2004. Milestone in Tedburn St. Mary, about 50 metres east of small roundabout, on grass verge under tree opposite telegraph pole. A small, unobtrusive stone. The legend, ' 7 Miles To Exeter' is painted on in black. Worn. Dates from c1823. Stone noted out of the ground on 18th October 2007, and missing by 30th October.
Site re-visited on 24th January 2008. Stone was replaced in January 2008, with a protective back slab.
