Direction post at south-east corner of lane from Ilsington Methodist church to Lewthorn Crossroads. Direction post. Early 19th century. Granite. Post of roughly square section with segmental shaped top. On the south-west face is carved to Ashburton, on the north-west face to Manaton, and on the north-east face to Ilsington. The letters have been picked out in black paint.
