Cropmarks of levelled ditches, up to 3m in width, are visible on oblique aerial photographs taken in 1984, on gentle southwest facing slopes of a spur, to the southwest of Well Farm, Woodland. The dark cropmarks are poorly defined but form a partial sub-oval enclosure, approximately 35m in width and at least 55m in length. The south-eastern corner of the enclosure is not visible. Its form and proximity to other enclosures identified in this area would suggest a possible prehistoric or Romano-British date.
