A rectilinear ditched enclosure is visible on aerial photographs of 1985 on the south-west facing combe slopes north of Ashcombe Barton, Ashcombe. The enclosure is defined by a cropmark is up to 3.5m wide defining a rectilinear enclosed area approximately 38 by 33m in size. No break in the cropmark indicative of an entrance was readily identifiable.
The cropmarks are interpreted as evidence of an enclosure of later prehistoric to Roman date.
