Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.

'Old Sand Pit' shown on 19th century map as a triangular feature on the east side of Pinn Lane. 'Pinhoe Sand Pit' is shown on the west side of Pinn Lane as a long narrow feature.
