Ash house circa 5m east of wiston farmhouse. Ash-house. Probably c18. Unrendered cob on low stone rubble plinth. Slate roof with gable ends. The ash-house is virtually square on plan, with a central doorway with timber lintel on the west side, and a low raking hole with a peaked head cut through the plinth and base of the cob at the right gable end. Single storey, but of sufficient height to carry a low loft. The ash-house is situated in the north-east corner of the orchard to the front of wiston farmhouse.
