A square, ditched enclosure of probable later prehistoric or Roman date was visible on aerial photographs as cropmarks on gentle east-facing combe slopes to the east of Langford Court. The enclosure was approximately 60 metres across and a narrow faint linear cropmark visible on its south-western side might support the interpretation that it was enclosed by two ditches. Slight traces of a possible smaller enclosure or structure are visible just north of centre within the enclosure.
