SX 5952 7002 Wheal Chance Tin Stamping Mill, possible second wheel pit or water channel.
(14/08/1970) A stone lined trench 5.0m x 5.0m and 1.0m deep. It is either a second wheelpit or a water channel, probably the latter. The four large pits centred at SX 5952 7001 (see headsheet) are probably settling beds or pits.
