Weavers Hill, (east side), Church Road.
House. Early 19th century. Solid walls, partly at least of stone rubble, covered with roughcast; rear wing rendered. Slated roofs with blue glazed ridge-tiles. Rendered chimneystack on each gable and a third, with exposed brick top, on left-hand slope of rear-wing roof.
Plan: L-shaped plan, the rear wing possibly a later addition; lean-to, probably another addition, behind right-hand side of front range. Latter now has only one ground-storey room, but originally had two with through-passage between them.
Exterior: two storeys. Symmetrical front two windows wide with doorway in centre. Plank door with small window inserted later; bead-moulded wood frame. Shallow 20th century wood porch. Windows are 8-paned sashes containing a lot of old glass. Right-hand side-wall has only one small window in each storey, a 2-paned casement. Left-hand gable has no windows, but wing has one window at right-hand end of each storey, this containing a 2-pane sash with horns. 20th century sliding door at left-hand end of ground storey.
Interior: somewhat altered, has a few plain early 19th century details, including panelled shutters to front ground-storey windows. Included for group value.
