(13/07/1970) One of a group of four hut circles on hillside between two headstreams of Newleycombe Lake. Hut 'A'. Double stone wall with entrance gap on south side and one recumbent door post. Measures 6.9 metres by 6.4 metres, wall height 0.5 metres.

Site visited on 6th May 1993. Western of two stone hut circles 850 metres west of Siward's or Nun's Cross on western edge of settlement. Terraced into the hillside and of the simple plan and single orthostat walling type. Interior measures 5.0 metres in diameter and is defined by a 1.7 metres wide wall standing up to 0.6 metres high.

This monument includes two stone hut circles situated on the western edge of an unenclosed stone hut circle settlement, lying on a west-facing slope overlooking Newleycombe Lake. Both stone hut circles are terraced into the hillside and are composed of stone and earth walls surrounding circular internal areas. The interior of the western building measures 5.0 metres in diameter and the 1.7 metres wide wall stands up to 0.6 metres high. This monument lies within an area which has been extensively mined for tin, and earthworks associated with this activity survive nearby.
