Full description

Fountain Cottage and Sunnyside, West Lane (north side).
Pair of cottages. Eighteenth century. Rendered cob walls. Thatch roof hipped to left end, gabled to right. Central brick stack and small shaft at right gable-end.
Plan: Fountain Cottage has 2-room plan, sunnyside 1-room plan.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Asymmetrical 2:1 window front. Regular facade to Fountain Cottage of early 19th century 12-pane sashes on 1st floor with 20th century 1 and 2-light casements on ground floor. Central 20th century glazed porch. Sunnyside to right has asymmetrical front of later 20th century diamond leaded pane 2-light casement on each floor. Twentieth century gabled porch to right.
