Prowse, A. B., 1901, The Antiquities of Ockery and Roundhill, Dartmoor, 495-499 (Article in Serial). SDV233834.

Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division, 1950 - 1980, SX57SE56 (Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division Card). SDV271952.

One of a group of 3 cairns near oakery. Cairns only a few yards distant from each other, made up of large rounded stones. Cairn B measures 3.5 meters in diameter, and 1.0 meters in height and consists of a number of loosely piled huge water worn granite stones, lichen covered. Condition fair. (04/09/1950)
Possibly 19th century clearance cairns (17/01/1980) Other details: Including plan.

This site was considered for designation as a Scheduled Ancient Monument during the Monument Protection Programme. The programme ended before the entire list of sites was successfully scheduled so this is included on a local list of Nationally Important Sites.
