Full description

Department of Environment, 1986, Ugborough, 68 (List of Blds of Arch or Historic Interest). SDV177051.

Barn and shippon approximately 25 metres north of Whitehouse farmhouse. Bank barn over shippon buil;t in the late 18th century. Slate rubble with granite quoins and arches. Slurried slate half-hipped roof. 2 storeys. Shippon doors on ground floor with dressed granite arches. Central barn loft door approached by an external flight of steps. Row of pigeon holes below eaves. Barn at ground level at rear. Included for group value.
