Chanter, J. F., 1927, Sixteenth Report on Church Plate, 117-118 (Article in Serial). SDV239594.

Church plate in parish church of St. Constantine. Chalice A, baluster stem cup, plain bowl, baluster stem foot. Inscription, 'Milton Abbot 1652'. Marks; maker indistinct and London hallmarks for 1639. Chalice B, a similar cup to A; same inscription. Marks; maker, cock on reversed C and London hallmarks for 1650. Patens A, cover of old chalice, perhaps Elizabethan, very battered. No marks. Paten B, plate. Inscribed, 'Milton Abbot 1843'. Marks; Messrs. Barnard and London, 1840. Flagon A, domed lid tankard, Cictorian type with finial. Inscription, Milton Abbot 1833-4'. Marks; Messrs. Barnard and London, 1833. Flagon B, pewter. Inscription, 'D. H. T P CH. Wardens'.
