Barn 8 metres east of farmhouse at Batten's Farm. Barn, originally a threshing barn. Mid 18th century. Random rubble chert construction with some cob below eaves line and hipped thatched roof. Opposed doors replaced; one smaller planked door with strap hinges. Pointed window to rear. Bench mark on left-hand corner. Interior with collar rafter roof, 6 trusses with tie beams and high collars, pegged throughout. A good, intact example of an 18th century barn.
