Goodyear, R. I., 1990, (?) Barrow Site (Worksheet). SDV126868.

"Barrows Close. " The field name suggests a possible barrow site (and also 'Higher Barows Close' to the south) though the topographical situation would be unusual - could be some other form of mound or earthwork.

Exeter Museums Archaeological Field Unit, 1992 - 1993, Blackdown Hills Survey Archive (Archive - Survey). SDV324187.

Vis=-/3/1991 (simpson) these fields are now part of the same field. No earthworks indicative of a barrow were observed.
