Summary

Vis=-/-/1970 (ralegh radford cited by bath). In sunderland copse there is a large limestone boulder showing two vertical sides built up and heightened to form a structure 6 1/2 feet high on one side and 14 feet on the other. The walls thus formed appear to have been covered with a thin rendering of concrete. Excavation around the base suggests that it had a stone seat around it. Possible c18 folly (bath).
