Pump in courtyard at Penrose Almshouses. Pump. Probably late 17th/early 18th century. Timber casing; lead roof; iron spout and handle. Simple timber casing in the shape of a vertical box; lead capping with lead rolls to the corners and a lead acorn finial. The casing has a hole for the spout and curved handle. Sited in the centre of the pitched stone courtyard at Penrose Almshouses. Date listed: 29th September 1999.
