Summary

Morwell manor. Boundaries cut out from tavistock. Taken from two 15th century surveys - survey of hurdwick (1416) and of morwell(1414), transcripts in the white book. At the time of domesday morwell was included in the manor of tavistock and held in demesne by the abbot. Finberg believes it identifies with roborough which was granted by abbot wymund to his brother william about the end of the 11th century.
