Full description
Worthy, C., 1883, Berry Castle and its Ancient Lords, 435 (Article in Serial). SDV15361.
Parish church. On a stone in the floor of the chancel is the following inscription: hic jacet elizabeth pomeroy una filiaru et heredum johis hengscot armigi et uxor thomae pomery de engesdon armigi que obiit nono die junii anno dni 1599.
