The mapping area given by Southwest Archaeology for the monitoring works carried out in 1986 is presumed from the information given in the North Devon Rescue Archaeology files. (Note that this places the coal store within the site of the former Raleigh Works, whereas the NGR given by North Devon Rescue Archaeology is to the south in the former station yard.)
