Jenkinson, T., 2005 - 2007, Exeter to Lyme Regis A3052 (Report - Survey). SDV344468.

Visited on 2nd April 2005. Milestone between Farringdon Cross and Halfway House, on verge by south side of road, by Whitecross pumping station. Worn with scrapes across the face. Chips to top edge. Ordnance Survey benchmark on top with bolt. Circa 1820. Legend '6 Miles From Exeter'.


English Heritage, 2010, Historic Houses Register (List of Blds of Arch or Historic Interest). SDV154869.

Milestone. Late 18th - early 19th century. Limestone. Upright slab standing approximately one metre high with a flat top and rounded corners. The front is inscribed with Roman serif capitals and records '6 miles from Exeter'. There is a benchmark inscribed on the top.
