PERS COMM TO J.P.ALLAN, Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV176811.
Mr dance, the landowner, suggests the above ngr as possibly a more likely location for bloody pool, the find spot of a bronze age hoard of ritual deposit (see sx76sw/25). This is a boggy place, whereas the spot marked on os maps is on top of a ridge (pers comm to j. P. Allan).
