Village farmhouse. Farmhouse. Circa c17 with late c19 extension at rear. Whitewashed granite rubble. Rendered east gable end. Thatched roof with gabled ends. Rendered chimney-stack at gable end.
2 room and through passage plan with newel stairs next to large stack in gable end. The partition at the higher left-hand side of passage removed. Large late c19 addition at rear with parallel gable-ended roof.2 storeys.3-window range. Small c20 casement. C20 plank door to left of centre with c20 hood. Small stair window in gable end to right of stack.
Interior: hall fireplace with chamfered slightly cambered timber beam with ogee steps. Hall axial beam roughly chamfered with run-out steps. Partition between passage and hall plastered over but chamfered lintel of doorframe exposed, with mason's mitres. Partition between passage and parlour removed but said to have been made of planks. Head beam over partition square unchamfered. Parlour ceiling beam and joists replaced and later fireplace on rear wall. Roof: five trusses with side pegged morticed apices and lap-jointed collars.
