Full description
Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.
Cottage is depicted on the late 19th century historic map.

Corner Cottage. Cottage within a row of cottages, Nos. 1 to 4 qv. Circa 17th century, remodelled in circa 19th century. Roughcast stone. Asbestos slate roof with gabled ends and raised eaves, the lower right-hand end at lower level.
Probably 3 room and through passage plan with lateral stack at rear of lower end. Gable and stack at higher end and 20th century rear outshut. 2 storeys. Regular 4-window range with circa late-19th century 2 and 3-light casements with glazing bars. 20th century gabled porch to right of centre. Interior not inspected but said to have an old open fireplace. Included for group value.
