A greenstone axe from parswell in the exeter city museum catalogue (no 438/1977/2)(nmr, citing pearce).

A ground and polished stone axe found on Parswell Farm in 1966, by the farmer, who has retained it. Examination by the Implement Petrology Survey of the South West has proved that this implement belonged to group IV, being a product of the axe factory which flourished on Balstone Down, Cornwall, during the third millenium BC. The axehead is imperfect, lacking the butt. The length extant is 117mm, the greatest width 66mm and the greatest thickness 37mm.

A ground and polished stone axe found on Parswell Farm in 1966, by the farmer, who has kept it. It is 117mm long, greatest width 66mm, and 37mm greatest thickness. It is not perfect as it lacks the butt. Examination has proved, it is a product of the axe factory on Balstone Down, Cornwall. TDA, 1969, pg. 257.
