Late 18c. Originally a lodge to mount tavy. One storey whitewashed stone cottage with splayed frontage to road. Small local slate roof. Fluted porch canopy supported on granite columns. Two windows flanking the porch are round-headed with gothic glazing bars (doe).

On the Dartmoor Road, 0.75 miles east of Tavistock. An angle-fronted single storey toll house with pillars supporting the porch and incorrectly names "Old Lodge". Devon Tollhouses 1976 (Kanefsky, J.)

On the Dartmoor road, three-quarters of a mile east of Tavistock. An angle-fronted single-storey tollhouse of great charm, with pillars supporting the porch and incorrectly named 'Old Lodge'. Partially obscured by bushes and easy to miss.
