Site visit 27th February 2012. Milestone on grass verge on north side of road. Inscribed Okehampton/8/Miles. Also has a benchmark on the face. Worn. Prone to downgrowth of vegetation. Placed in about 1760. The old A30 retains a surprisingly good number of milestones set up at various times by the three Turnpike Trusts (Launceston, Okehampton and Exeter) that managed it.
