Full description
English Heritage, 2012, National Heritage List for England (National Heritage List for England). SDV348729.
Smale Chest Tomb about 11 metres north of the east wall of the north aisle of the Church of St. Michael. Freestone chest with oversailing grey limestone lid and moulded corner balusters. Inscription panels on the sides commemorating William Smale, died 1816 and other members of the Smale family. Date listed: 28th April 1987.
