Full description

English Heritage, 2012, National Heritage List for England (National Heritage List for England). SDV348729.

Whiteway Chest Tomb about 19 metres north of the east wall of the north aisle of the Church of St. Michael. Late 19th century. Freestone chest with a hipped lid and corner balusters. Inscription on side commemorates Daniel Whiteway, died 1861 and other members of the Whiteway family. Date listed: 28th April 1987.
