Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division, 1950, SX56NE49, Hut E (Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division Card). SDV216718.

(30/05/1950) Hut E (SX 5851 6702) One of five large hut circles (average diameter 7.5m, height 0.5m), walls of turf and large stones. Entrances to the south-west.

Hut circle '2' of 7.0 to 7.3 metres diameter at Whittenknowles Rocks enclosure at the junction of two internal boundaries.
