Full description
Department of Environment, Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV334381.
Milestone. Late c18, early c19. Granite. Upright stone now standing approximately 0.8 metres high. Flat-topped and triangular in plan with 2 front sides canted forward. It is inscribed with roman serif capitals "to exon xv" to left and "to barum xxv" to right. In both cases "miles" is now buried (doe).

Visited on 16th June 2005. Almost opposite entrance to Stoke Barn, in tall grass below fence on east side of road. Legend "To/Exon/XV/?/To/Barum/XXV/?/". Chip on top left edge. Worn. Paint residues on stone. Partly sunk into ground. Circa 1829.
