Summary
Cropmark ditches of a possible prehistoric ring ditch, c.20m diameter, are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1988 and 1996, to the east of Halse Farm, North Tawton. A second possible ring ditch, circa 20m diameter, is recorded to the east, although this feature was not transcribed during the NMP survey.

Ring ditch (20m diameter) with possible second ring ditch (20m diameter) to east. First recorded by aerial reconnaissance in 1988.

A curvilinear single-ditched enclosure is visible on aerial photos (p1). It is roughly 23m x 24m and has breaks in its length along both it north and south edges. The enclosure has been digitally plotted as part of the National Mapping Programme.
