Full description
Masson Phillips, E. N., 1943, Notes on Some Old Roadside Stones in South West Devon, 157 (Article in Serial). SDV148816.
Boundary stone, Collaton Lane. On the road from Tavistock to Two Bridges. Stands by the roadside about 1km north of Moorshop, on the lane to Harford Bridge, where a lane turns east to Collaton. Tapers slightly upwards and on three faces bears initial letters in relief within sunken panels, thus: T (for Tavistock), W (for Whitchurch), and P (for Peter Tavy). Marks the junction of the boundaries of these three parishes.

(12/07/2005) Boundary stone erected in the 1820s on the grass verge on the east side of the road at the turn to Collaton Farm. The stone is inscribed 'P' cut into a small recessed panel. The rough cut stone had been repositioned after falling in 2004 & had chips to the edges at the time of the survey in 2004.
