Full description
Department of Environment, Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV334619.
Lychgate to church of st. Mary the virgin. Lychgate.1902, erected by edwin dunning of stoodleigh court to commemorate the surrender of the boers (inscription). Stone rubble and timber with a tiled roof gabled at ends. Large lychgate with openwork timber sides with ogee braces supported on stone rubble walling. Inscription on south side in bronze letters.(doe).
