This is an earlier stone in the line on the parish boundaries. It stands at the junction between, Ilsington, Manaton and Bovey Tracey parishes and has three vertical faces inscribed 'I', 'M' and 'B' on the relevant face. According to Brewer this stone is known as 'Writenol'.
