Summary

Parish church. Circular bowl on modern shaft and plinth. Roll moulding at rim; another moulding, sometimes square, sometimes a flattened round, below it. Below a band 127mm wide of norman ornament, 14 devices in a square, all different. On west side is a pentagon. Clever use of norman lozenge and nail-head. Another moulding below carved band. Three mouldings below bowl, diamond, cable and plain with broad chamfer. Plinth over-powering, with horizontal flutings and mouldings and too large spurs.

C12 font bowl decorated with stars, crosses and circles. Base probably renewed (doe).
