Full description
Keene, B., 1991, Silver Stater (Worksheet). SDV349448.
Silver stater found by metal detector on the north-west slope below Cranmore Iron Age Castle south of Tiverton; in good to fine condition; about 6.5 inches below the ground surface. Identified by photograph in Coin Catalogue as of the Iron Age - Durotrigian; debased design with pellets etc; date range 60BC - 20AD.
