One of four barrows east of Greena Ball. Doubt has been cast on then as Prehistoric and they may be old peat stacks.

National Monument Record, 2014, Pastscape, 439590 (Website). SDV355682.

Four Bronze Age barrows were alleged at this location. However, field investigation suggests that the features are more likely to be peat stacks of uncertain date.
Round barrow. One of four east of Greena Ball. Cairn 'a' diameter 8.25 metres, height 0.8 metres.
Site visited on 1st September 1978. The general appearance and situation of these mounds suggests they are peat stacks.
Site visited on 7th march 1979. There is no doubt that these are peat mounds. There is a possibility that the peat has developed over a small mound, but it seems more likely that each is an old peat stack.
