Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.

Oxenham Quarry is depicted on the Tithe Map.

'Oxenham Quarry (disused)' is depicted on the late 19th century, surrounding the expanded farmstead.

'Oxenham Quarry (disused)' is depicted on the early 20th century historic map; farmstead now shown as 'New Oxenham'.

Oxenham Farm Quarry. Probably served kilns in two fields on each side of approach drive, called in the Tithe apportionment 'Great Kiln' and 'Little Kiln' fields (see related records). The one surviving kiln is wide across top of pot, but extensively damaged, constructed of crumbling limestone with no lining and no entrance arch protecting the stoke hole.
