Full description
Giles, D. D. + Strong, P. J., 1984, The Blue Coat School, Tiverton, 89-95 (Article in Serial). SDV339397.
The first master of the Blue Coat School was allowed £9 per annum for the rent of a certain John Cock's house, which was also the location of the girls' school, founded in 1714. The school was moved to new premises in Frog Street (now Castle Street) in 1842.
