Ring ditch visible as a dark cropmark on aerial photographs taken in 1989 and 1992, is also visible with an exterior curvilinear dark curvilinear cropmark on aerial photographs taken in 2018. The ditch is approximately 2.5 metres wide and encircles an area of 15 metres in diameter; the exterior feature is circa 1 metre from the ring ditch and 1 metre wide. This seems likely to be one of a number of probable later prehistoric or Romano-British features visible as cropmarks in this field, perhaps having formed over the remains of a round house. However it is possible that it is an earlier feature, perhaps the ditch of a Bronze Age barrow.
