Full description

Hut circle shown on aerial photograph with possibly a second hut circle to the east.

Hut 5 within Prehistoric Settlement 6 on Chagford Common. Hut 5 of 6.1 metres diameter lies in the corner of a field with a jamb stone at its eastern entrance.
Cosford, J., 1991-2, Chagford Common, Hut VI (Worksheet). SDV244606.
Hut VI consists of a bank with 9 stones probably in original position in inner walls none more than 0.25 metres high. Other walling is a low rubble spread with a poossible entrance on the north-east side. A stone 0.3 metres wide by 0.25 metres high lies across the width of the bank on the south side of the possible entrance.
