Summary

Stoney feature within enclosure; to the north of the large hut excavated in the late 19th century. Survey in 2015 has confirmed this is not a hut circle, although it has been identified as such in the past.

Hut circle visible and recorded.

Excavated hut circle, visible as horseshoe shaped wall enclosing an area 2.9 metres by 2.2 metres with open end on south-western side. Three stoney mounds lying in east part are probably stone clearance or excavation spoil heaps.

Survey of this enclosure has confirmed that this feature is not a hut circle.

Visited 15/08/2019. Although this feature was not part of the PAL project it was recorded as it was so close to the enclosure and hut being surveyed. A well defined oblong structure with a small covering of bracken but in good condition
