HERALD EXPRESS, 1986, Boundary Stones to be Restored (Article in Serial). SDV325925.

Historic boundary stones round Totnes are to be restored by Devon County Council.
Totnes town councillor heard that the recent beating of the bounds was supported by 200 people but some problems were encountered finding some of the boundary stones. Some protection to be put around the stones on the highways.

Boundary stone marking pre 1832 borough boundary on Kingsbridge Hill. A round-headed granite block incised with the letters bb. Stone is to be found on the right ascending the hill, above the entrance to Crosswinds on the opposite side. Built into the wall low down. Figure 2, Number 4.
