Full description

HERALD EXPRESS, 1986, Boundary Stones to be Restored (Article in Serial). SDV325925.

Historic boundary stones round Totnes are to be restored by Devon County Council.
Totnes town councillor heard that the recent beating of the bounds was supported by 200 people but some problems were encountered finding some of the boundary stones. Some protection to be put around the stones on the highways.

On opposite side of the road and a little higher up Kingsbridge Hill than SX76SE/149, one of the wall stone bears an incised letter T which may have a connection with the borough boundary.
