Boundary stone marking 1832 extended borough boundary. Marked on 25" os map in a hedgebank now replaced by a wire fence. Stone unlocated (masson phillips).

Historic boundary stones round Totnes are to be restored by Devon County Council.
Totnes town councillor heard that the recent beating of the bounds was supported by 200 people but some problems were encountered finding some of the boundary stones. Some protection to be put around the stones on the highways.
